GenFlex GL ISO
Perfect for use with virtually all membrane roofing systems, GenFlex GL ISO is a highly efficient thermal insulation board with a polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to fiber-reinforced facers. It is approved for new construction and reroofing over virtually all roof deck types. It is especially suited for FM Approved and UL Classified direct-to-deck applications/assemblies without an additional thermal barrier in most installations.
Installation Methods: | Insulation adhesive, mechanically attached and loose laid |
Standard Size: | 4′ x 4′ (1.22 m x 1.22 m) flat and tapered, and 4′ x 8′ (1.22 m x 2.43 m) |
Thickness: | ½ ” (12.7 mm) to 4.5” 114.3 mm) |
GenFlex CG ISO
For the ultimate in fire and mold resistance, GenFlex CG ISO provides exceptional protection for your roofing system. GenFlex CG ISO is a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core, bonded chemically to a heavy duty, dimensionally stable, inorganic, double coated glass facer. Offering a Class A fire rating over combustible decks at 1” thick and meeting D3273 standards for mold resistance, this lightweight insulation is compatible with all roofing systems including GenFlex EPDM and GenFlex EZ TPO Membranes and provides enhanced wind uplift performance for your roofing system. GenFlex Coated Glass Facer is also available in tapered to provide a sloping surface. Tapered polyiso promotes positive drainage for roofing applications.
Installation Methods: | Insulation adhesive, mechanically attached and loose laid |
Standard Size: | 4′ x 4′ (1.22 m x 1.22 m) flat and tapered, and 4′ x 8′ (1.22 m x 2.43 m), |
Thickness: | 1″ (25.4 mm) min. to 4 1/2″ (114.3 mm), flat or selected tapered |
GenFlex HD ISO
GenFlex HD ISO can offer savings from reduced transportation costs, labor and material during application because it is lightweight and easy to cut and install. Plus, GenFlex HD ISO provides the highest thermal performance of any 1/2” cover board product on the market. Basically, it combines impact resistance, mold resistance, energy savings and ease of installation in a single, high-density product.
Installation Methods: | Insulation adhesive, mechanically attached and loose laid |
Standard Size: | 4′ x 4′ (1.22 m x 1.22 m) and 4′ x 8′ (1.22 m x 2.43 m) |
Thickness: | ½”-thick (12.7 mm) |
Weight: | 11 lb. per 4’ x 8’ (80 psi) 12 lb. per 4’ x 8’ (1200 psi) |
GenFlex HD Comp
GenFlex HD Comp consists of a 1/2” GenFlex HD ISO laminated directly to GenFlex GL ISO. By combining these two proven products in an in-line manufacturing process, the building owner receives a high-performing, energy-efficient insulation board, while the installer saves time and labor due to not having to adhere another layer.
In addition, since GenFlex HD ISO is made in a controlled environment, the risk of other variables that can impact the performance of the product be it dirt, adhesive application, etc. are greatly reduced.
Installation Methods: | Insulation adhesive, mechanically attached and loose laid |
Standard Size: | 4′ x 4′ (1.22 m x 1.22 m) and 4′ x 8′ (1.22 m x 2.43 m) |
Thickness: | 1.5” (38.1 mm) min. to 4 1/2” (114.3 mm) |
GenFlex NB ISO
GenFlex NB ISO consists of a polyiso foam core laminated to a 7/16” oriented strand board (OSB) on one side, and a black glass reinforced mat facer on the other side. This nailable OSB surface protects the roof against accidental punctures, hail, and winds up to 100 mph. It is suitable for use with EPDM, TPO, modified bitumen and metal roofing systems.
Installation Methods: | Insulation adhesive, mechanically attached and loose laid |
Standard Size: | 4′ x 4′ (1.22 m x 1.22 m) and 4′ x 8′ (1.22 m x 2.43 m) |
Thickness: | 1.5” (38.1 mm) min. to 4 1/2” (114.3 mm) |
* The thermal performance of GenFlex’s polyiso insulation is up to 40% better than major competitors when tested by an independent third party in cold temperature 40°F (4°C) applications according to ASTM C1289 standards. The increased R-value per inch means better thermal performance from the same roofing systems using the same amount of insulation compared to leading competitive products on the market today.
